TSSL HighbridgeThe new purpose built station for TSSL at Highbridge connects the UK end of the transatlantic cable system. Two substantial power generating sets provide the essential back up for this important communications hub. With reliability and endurance being essential, Flue-Stax were selected
to supply and install the generator exhausts. Two 500mm diameter systems
connected from the generator exhaust manifolds through primary and secondary
silencers to a triangular lattice support mast 25.0M high. All supporting
steelwork for the silencers and the mast for the vertical exhausts was
supplied and installed by Flue-Stax.
